🍋 Yeah maracuyeah!

“Yeah Maracuyeah” is an illustration that blends “yeah” with maracuyá, the Spanish word for passion fruit, arranged to echo each other in sound and rhythm. Try to say it without tasting that sweet and tangy passion fruit vibe. The character is inspired by classic rubber-hose animation, think 1930s cartoons like the first Mickey Mouse or modern interpretations like Cuphead. I wanted to create a vibrant, playful and energetic piece with hand-drawn typography that feels organic, fresh and full of personality. Hope you like it! 😋
